Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th September : Wyntercon VI, Eastbourne
This year, Wyntercon moves to Eastbourne Sports Park - click [here] for directions. This multi-award winning annual event attracts thousands of people and is a great family event. It hosts entertainment for all ages, including arts and crafts, circus skills, cosplay and photo opportunities with props from the likes of Game of Thrones and Doctor Who. You may even find a dinosaur or two! There will, of course, also be a variety of traders with an exciting array of cosplay, Steampunk, memorabilia and much more. Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd September : South Downs Folk Festival Market, Bognor Regis
This unique shopping event has been running successfully for the last three years, complimenting the Folk Festival which takes place in Bognor Town Centre at various venues and in the streets. The market is located on the Place St Maur and the seafront and will come alive with an exciting array of market stalls to suit all budgets and tastes. Sunday 15th September : Hastings Steampunk Circus of Curiosities
The spectacular Hastings Steampunk Circus of Curiosities will be at the St Leonards Showground in Magdalen Road, St Leoanrds-on-Sea on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September. Hosted by the Eastbourne Bonfire Society, the Official Eastbourne Steampunk Festival will be coming to the Wish Tower Slopes in September. Put on your best Steampunk finery and join the parade along the sea front then enjoy the free music and entertainment, beer tent, street food and stalls.
